Tucson Outdoor Adventures
Get out of town and into the outdoors with a private guided trip in the mountains and canyons surrounding Tucson. Altitude Mountain Guides offers rock climbing, scenic rappelling, and canyoneering for first-timers, families, experienced climbers, and groups.
Your guide handles the technical equipment, route selection, and safety systems, then adjusts the day to your goals and comfort level. You can spend a few hours learning to rappel, climb for a half or full day on Mount Lemmon, or explore a technical desert canyon by foot and rope.
Our Certified Guides
Altitude Mountain Guides is a Tucson-based guide service specializing in private rock climbing, rappelling, and canyoneering trips. Because your trip is private, the pace, difficulty, and goals are built around your group.
Our guides hold professional climbing-guide certifications through the American Mountain Guides Association or Professional Climbing Guides Institute and maintain Wilderness First Responder-level medical training. We provide the technical equipment and manage the ropes, anchors, route planning, and other systems needed for the day.
